Applica provides an online resume and portfolio tool designed to be shared with others without all of the noise of LinkedIn and unique support for portfolios.
Is Applica free?
Yes! Access to Applica’s online resume and portfolio tools is completely free. However, if you’d like Applica to apply to jobs on your behalf, that’s a paid service. We offer short-term subscription packages designed to fit your job search needs.
Will you help me with my resume or Applica profile?
If you are using the job search service, absolutely. During sign-up, you’ll have the opportunity to meet with a team member who will review your resume and portfolio and offer personalized suggestions. We’ll also recommend roles to target based on your experience and current market demand.
However, if you are using the free Applica online resume and portfolio without the job search service we do not provide a free resume review. If you are interested in resume help please contact us at asdf@getapplica.com and we can discuss it.
Applica Job Search Services
Along with the online resume and portfolio, Applica provides a job search service where we use your Applica profile and preferences to source and apply to jobs on your behalf. We do this everyday so your inbox is full of application receipts allowing you to focus on networking and interview preparation.
Do we do this everyday?
Applica performs job search services Monday through Friday.
How many applications can I expect each day?
The Applica team works 1 hour each day sourcing and applying to roles for you. We average more than 10 jobs in that hour.
How do you source jobs?
Our team curates high-quality tech jobs from popular job boards like LinkedIn, Hiring.cafe, and others. We prioritize roles that have been posted within the last 24 hours to ensure your application is among the first seen by hiring teams.
Do you use AI?
No. Applica is powered by real people with deep expertise in the tech hiring space. We specialize in helping professionals in product management, UX/product design, software engineering, and project management.
Do you support cover letters?
Yes, we support cover letters. However, we only support one cover letter at a time. Applica is designed for speed and efficiency, so we recommend using a general cover letter that can be applied broadly across multiple roles.
Do you support application-specific questions?

Will I lose access to my Applica account if I’m not using the job application service?
No, you’ll retain access to your Applica account even if you’re not subscribed to our job application service.
What happens if I update my resume?
If you make updates to your resume, simply upload the latest version to your Applica account. We'll use the most current version for any applications we submit on your behalf.
Working with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)
How does Applica handle Workday or other ATS platforms that require account creation?
Some ATS platforms require job seekers to create an account just to apply. Applica will handle these steps for you and coordinate with you if any information or actions are needed.
What about verification codes from ATS systems?
Some ATS platforms send confirmation codes that expire within minutes. Currently, Applica does not support handling these time-sensitive verifications. If a role requires this, you can re-apply directly and complete the verification process yourself.
Subscription Details
Is Applica a subscription service?
Yes, but we’ve intentionally designed our subscriptions to be short-term and flexible. Instead of ongoing monthly billing, we offer 15-, 20-, and 25-day packages. You can extend or renew these as needed—no long-term commitment required.
