Applica Next Steps

If you have made it to this page let’s keep the momentum going! In less than 1 hour we can get you ready for App Booster and have the Applica team start to apply to jobs immediately.

1. CREATE FREE ACCOUNT (5 minutes) 

  • You can create your free account at www.getapplica.com. You’ll need your resume to start but it does NOT need to be perfect - we will help you improve your resume based on the role you want. 

  • Applica will auto-parse your resume information into an Applica profile (you can polish your Applica profile details later - especially if you want to share your Applica online profile with others).

2. RUN RESUME AND IDEAL JOB ANALYSIS (5 Minutes) 

  • This feature helps you understand how ‘ready’ your resume by analyzing its readiness for applicant tracking systems and how good your resume ‘story’ is.

  • To run the analysis you can do this from the profile page at the top of the box. Just paste in a generic job description for your ideal job. You can get this Google "give me a job description for a <Title> then paste into the box and hit analyze. 

  • The analysis will create a report found in the left nav under your profile. Review it and understand how 'ready' your resume is for job searching and how well aligned it is for your ideal role. 

3. REQUEST APP BOOSTER (1 min)

  • Click ‘Enable App Booster’ at the top of your profile. This action will do two things: 1) This will enable a new page under your profile in the main nav labeled ‘Application Details’ 2) notify us that you are interested in App Booster so we’ll be reaching to review your profile, resume and application details. 

4. COMPLETE APPLICATION DETAILS FORM (10 minutes)

  • This questionnaire is designed to help our team understand what type of job you want. 

  • Answer the questions which are typical job application questions.

  • Set up your email forwarding (instructions are on the Application Details form and we are always here to help if you need it. 

5. APPLICA TEAM WILL REVIEW YOUR PROFILE

  • We’ll do a final pass on your profile, resume and application details questionnaire. 

  • We can do this final pass together on video call or asynchronously - whichever you prefer. 

6. MAKE PAYMENT

  • We will issue you a secure Stripe invoice to make payment.

  • Once payment is made we will assign your search to our team of recruiters.

7. STAYING IN CONTACT

  • You’ll hear a lot from us in the beginning but to just confirm we are meeting your needs and we can adjust whenever necessary.
